Seedfolx Farm is a femme-owned, BIPOC, organic, no-till, small-scale farm situated on traditional Coast Salish territory of the Sammamish people. We are honored to steward this land for Seedfolks, a term for ancestors who carried seeds before us. Seedfolks is also the name of a children's book that helped shape my imagination about how food brings people together.

As a Latine with family roots in Guadalajara, Mexico, I come from a lineage of farmers, especially, from my maternal grandmother who grew flowers in her tiny Chicago backyard. Back in 2010, I stepped foot on City Farm, Chicago's oldest, sustainable, 1-acre urban farm, and never looked back. Trained in the Practice of Organic Farming at Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA, and interned at Jello Mold Flower Farm in Skagit Valley, WA, I then returned to my midwest roots in 2019 to establish Seedfolx Farm in Detroit, MI. After experiencing eminent domain from the City of Detroit in 2024, I now farm in the Viva King Farming Incubator Program.

I currently partner with other local farmers to offer my customers an array of fresh cut-flowers, gorgeous foliage, fresh/dried herbs, and select produce for sale.
